Did you know?:

There are 1.9 billion active users on YouTube.

YouTube mobile ads are 84% more likely to hold attention than TV ads.

Here are 7 Free Tips for accelerating growth with YouTube Marketing

1. Use Keywords and CTAs

YouTube is probably the single most popular platform for videos; everything from how-to videos to prank videos are shared and viewed on YouTube. When someone google searches things, they are generally given a YouTube link for videos pertaining to that search. This is because Google owns YouTube. People want to trust the CTAs and keywords in the title. Don't use generic terms; don't overload the title and make sure that you are choosing accurate words and descriptions for your videos.

2. Determine Your Channel Tone and Style

There are essential steps to take to make a YouTube channel successful. If you want to achieve success or (fame), you will want to decide the audience you want to appeal to. This is often done by deciding what content you want to produce. You will have the same style and tone through all of your content. When your viewers can trust in you for entertainment, accurate information, real-life hacks, or other things, they will continue to come back and share your videos.

3. Incorporate Various Video Types

If you create a video, that is a how-to theme then stick with it. You can create anything you want; however, people are more drawn to a channel that is full of one style of video rather than a mash-up of different styles or topics. Mixing celebrity news, with how-to videos, with a couple of comedy show videos, is not going to retain viewer attention.

4. Begin Each Video with an Interesting Hook

The opening to your video should be captivating, interesting, and attention-grabbing. That is what keeps people watching. When they realize that you have something they want to hear or see, they will keep coming back. Not every video is going to interest every viewer, but they will keep coming back to check for things they like and are interested in. If you want to show someone how to do amazing eye makeup, show the finished eye makeup and then proceed to show them how to do it.

5. Keep Titles and Opening Credits Short

Titles and credits can be combined at the beginning of your video as long as they are short. You can introduce products throughout the video without boring people if that is what you are doing. Long title pages and credit scrolls can cause a quick loss of interest. People will not binge watch and share something that doesn't retain their interest past the opening title.

6. Collaborate

When you collaborate with other YouTubers that are having high success, it can increase your success. You can draw in the viewers of the YouTuber you are collaborating with as well as they can draw in your viewers. If your videos can cross target audiences, it is a double win for both parties involved. This can also boost your reliability for true and accurate information.

7. Stick to the Ideal Length

The most successful YouTube videos are 4 minutes or less. Often you will find longer videos in an extremely particular niche. Long videos tend to lose watcher's interest. People want instant gratification, and they don't have the patience to sit and watch a 20-minute video for instructions or laughs. Many YouTubers are also limited on the time that they can watch in one sitting, so they want to see as much as they can in short amounts of time. Find the perfect length for your niche by watching your analytics and experimenting with different lengths.
